Description

A premium ring-spun cotton t-shirt featuring a cut-out photo collage of seven real corn snake (Pantherophis guttatus) morphs — classic, amelanistic, reverse okeetee, sunglow, creamsicle, hypomelanistic and bloodred — overlapping under one huge bookish serif word and a small dictionary block defining the colour as a temperament.

Everyone who has met an orange animal knows the theory: they share a single collective brain cell and whoever has it that day is having a wonderful time. Corn snake keepers worked out some years ago that it is not a cat-specific condition. Seven morphs here, every one of them orange, every one of them running on the same allocation.

Also, quietly, a real morph chart — which is the part keepers will notice. Printed on a Gildan 64000 100% ring-spun cotton tee in a soft unisex fit, round neckline, short sleeves, sizes S through 3XL.

The one that ends up covered in substrate

Soft ring-spun cotton, 4.5 oz. Light enough for summer, thin enough to layer under a hoodie the rest of the year. The cut is unisex and pre-shrunk, and it runs true to size, so if you're stuck between two, take the smaller one. Double-needle stitching at the collar and hems, and a tear-away label so nothing scratches the back of your neck. Sizes run S to 3XL, printed and shipped from the USA.

The artwork starts from the real animal, so the markings are the ones your species actually has. Most animal art is drawn by someone who has never kept one, and you can always tell.

Fair warning: this is the shirt you'll pull on for the weekly feed and then forget to change before you go out.
Washing Instructions

Keep the print looking new

  • Cold wash. Hot water is what fades the ink, and you run enough heat lamps as it is.
  • Turn it inside out first, so the print never rubs against the drum.
  • Gentle detergent. No bleach, and no fabric softener either, because it coats the fibres and dulls the colour.
  • Wash it with similar colours the first couple of times.
  • Hang dry if you can. Low heat if you can't, and get it out while it's still a little warm.
  • Iron around the print, or flip the shirt inside out. Never straight onto the design.

Do that and it will outlast a good few sheds.

Every shirt is printed for your order. Most leave within about three business days, and delivery is usually another three to seven after that. If you need it by a certain date, email support@brightbison.com before you order and we'll tell you straight whether it will make it.

We'll make it right. That covers a flaw in the print or fabric, a wrong design, or a parcel that never turns up.

Email support@brightbison.com within 30 days with a photo and you'll get a replacement or a refund, whichever you'd rather have. The shirt needs to be unused and in the condition it arrived in.

Will I get a tracking number for my order?

Yes. A tracking link goes out the moment your parcel leaves the printer. If nothing has turned up a day after the dispatch email, check your spam folder first, then email support@brightbison.com and we'll chase it for you.
What size would fit me best?

What materials are your products made of?
